It’s funny how life takes a turn; you have one plan and God has another plan. But, what happens when your plan and God’s plan clash? What happens when what you’ve been believing for doesn't manifest? What do you do when God says no? Like many of you, I’ve prayed for things, asked God to change things for me, got mad at God when things didn’t work out, and even got angry when things didn’t go as planned or didn’t follow my step by step written plan. You see, I had to realize that you can’t manipulate God or force him to do something because you want him to. Being a person who loves to control EVERYTHING, I had to learn to let go of my plans and seek God for his plan for my life, and once I did that, I stop struggling with what I wanted to do and I begin to do what he wanted me to do. One thing is for sure, God is God, and there’s no one like him, bigger or better than him, and he doesn’t move because we act like spoiled toddlers, crying for things we want and throwing a tantrum when we don’t get what we want. God controls the universe, and we can’t force him to MOVE on our behalf, just because we want, what we want. So, if God has said no to some things in your life, if you're being pulled in one direction, but you keep resisting, or if your plans keep clashing with God's plan for your life, just let go of your plans, it's as simple as that. Ask God to give you his plan for your life, and accept the plan he has for you. God has something better for you, but you have to trust him enough to let go of what you have planned for life, trust the direction he is taking you, believe that he has your best interest in mind, and trust he knows exactly what he’s doing.
