Praise God for his goodness and mercy, for the Lord is good
and his mercy endures forever. There are times in our lives when things don’t
go the way we planned, when God has other plans for us. Trust God and the
direction he is taking your life, nothing you have given up, left behind, or
didn’t do matters. What matters is doing the will of God, being where God wants
you to be, and doing what God wants you to do. The will of God will always supersede over any and everything we desire; it may take a while for us to get
it and understand that it’s not our will, but the will of our heavenly father,
but God’s will, will always stand. Don’t be discouraged because others have
gone on, don’t be discouraged because you didn’t get the degree you wanted, and
don’t be discouraged because it’s taking along time to accomplish your dreams
and goals. Know that God is faithful and he is not slack concerning his
promises. God is our almighty God, our God of refugee, our God of strength, he
is Jehovah in our lives, the most high God and beside him there is no other.
Praise God for where you are, praise God for what he is doing, praise god for
what he has already done, and praise God regardless of what things look like.
Remember, we look not at the things that are seen, but at the things that are
not seen, for the things that are seen are temporal and the things that are not
seen are eternal. What has God shown you? What has God said? Trust God with all
your heart and lean not to your own understanding. Be blessed!
